My name is Kelly and I am a stay at home Mom to 3 beautiful (maniac) children, 2 girls and a boy. My oldest daughters name is Breawna and she is 5, my 2nd daughters name is Skylar and she is 3, and my third child is Baby Jesse(who at the moment is my perfect child, cuz we all know little squishy face babies who cant talk back, spill paint, draw on couches, doodle on walls with permanent marker that mom had for sure thrown away or hid in an unreachable location, are always perfect) I had two drugged epidural births with my daughters and a beautiful drug free, feel every ounce of pain birth with my son. I am married to a "typical", let me sit in the garage all evening, Man named Jesse, not to be confused with "Baby Jesse" : ) he is 29 and we have been together sense September 2006 and Married sense September 2013 i believe. i Blame my forgetfulness on pregnancy brain, and yep i will milk that excuse for at least the next five years because im convinced babies dont grow their own little brains in the womb they each get a chunck of ours. Now a little about Me, which generally gets put on the back burner while raising three kids so its nice to talk about myself for a change. Im 26 years old, have been with my husband sense i was 18. I am currently in training to be a doula and one day hope to be a certified Nurse Midwife because sense im done having babies i want to help other women welcome their babies into the world. I have a lot I'd like to say about my crazy stay at home Mom life and the hectic ness of raising 3 children under 5. Im sure i will just be blogging to myself but maybe one day someone will see my blog and get a laugh or be assured all us stay at home Moms aren't perfect and we are all in this together!!
Ok, so i have 2 children who are tall and skinny, that would be Breawna and Baby Jesse. So i have people, especially Grandparents, who are always giving me shit, "why doesnt your son have pants on its cold", "hes gonna get sick", "thats gonna hurt his knees". And im constintly having to tell people, its not a choice, his hips are to small to hold up pants unless the waist in 0-3month and length is 12 months. So im constantly chasing behind a creepy crawly, wiggly, rolling baby trying, i mean FIGHTING to put his pants back on.
So one day my small son is crawling after his sisters in my front yard, pants trailer off behind him barely clinging to his ankles before taking one more move to ditch them completly. Its still December here and my friends tell me hes missing his Drawers...AGAIN!!!! i say "well i dont know what else to do his waist is to damn small to fit his pants". And his poor little legs crawl himslef into a ball if he tries to crawl in footy pajamas. So my friend says, "just button his onsie over his pants". Yeah i know its sounds ridiculous, it may even look a little ridiculous, but guess what? my son goes all day wearing pants and i no longer have one more headache to add to my day by having to keep strapping britches on my son. It's been a great little Mom hack and i wish i had thought of it with my other children. I even sometimes wish i could throw my tall and skinny 5 year old into a onsie and do the same to her some days just to make her life a little easier so shes not running around with a handful of her waste ban in her hands!! So After trying to conceive for 2 years to the day i found out i was pregnant with my first child on April 30th, 2009 when i was 21. it was a hectic pregnancy. I had terrible morning sickness up until week 25 of my pregnancy and i was even hospitilized for it. I was a bank teller all through my pregnancy and I went on maternity leave at 36 weeks due to preterm contractions. I went into labor 2 weeks later at 38 weeks at 11pm at night and went to the hospital at 9am the next morning.
